The LTA have just released their new Youth Schools Offer and this is available to all schools in Crewe and Nantwich. The Youth Schools is a free cross curricular programme for primary schools that includes free online teacher training course including a £250 reward voucher (which can be used towards equipment or coaching support), PE lesson plans with accompanying videos, personal development aids, competition tools and cross curricular resources.
CNSSP in partnership with Active Cheshire have purchased Boccia and New Age Kurling sets that schools can borrow to help increase pupils activity levels now they are back in school. Both of these games are inclusive for all pupils and training will be available for staff so that they can run the sessions or events themselves.
There are 2 new Boccia sets (more available if needed) and 2 new New Age Kurling sets complete with targets. If your school would like to borrow some or all of these sets please email Chris Hughes (firstname.lastname@example.org) to arrange dates.
As schools welcome pupils back after the lockdown, CNSSP are launching a Skipping challenge for all pupils in Crewe and Nantwich with Dan the Skipping Man to improve their physical wellbeing and assist teachers with reintroducing children back into school. All member schools will receive 32 free skipping ropes and will have access to bespoke videos created by Dan the Skipping Man which include Bronze, Silver and Gold challenges along with how to videos on each of the skipping techniques.
